They say "Do what you love, and you'll never work another day in your life". So, that's what I do....what I love, which is beautiful hair that makes each guest feel more beautiful than when they walked in. My career began 16 years ago, when I was blow-drying a friend's hair and she told me how good I was at doing hair and perhaps I should go to cosmetology school. One month later, I enrolled in cosmetology school, and 3 months later, I held my 1st pair of shears & fell in love with this craft! After graduating and obtaining my cosmetology license I felt like all I had learned was so basic and I was hungry for more. I went to New York and specialized in cutting, then returned to South Florida and worked 2 years as an assistant, getting continuous education weekly. I branched out as a stylist and built a clientele in Aventura, FL for many years. One day, I was offered to attend an audition to become an educator, and although I refused at first, I attended, tried out and 3 weeks later became an Educator on the Matrix Team! This was such an amazing experience,  getting to share knowledge with others whom also love this craft, pass on so many techniques,  and also create with artists who I looked up to for many years! I worked at beauty shows backstage, did in-salon education,  and met so many talented individuals who helped form the artist I am today. After 16 years, thanks to God and my encouraging husband, I began this new chapter as salon owner. I'm a Hairstylist &  Master Colorist because I believe cut and color go hand in hand and one enhances the other. I'm blessed to do what I love each day.
